I've decided I like my brick wall background.
It came about by accident. I wanted to get some outfit posts but everywhere in my house is so dark.
Goodness knows how I'll manage when the clocks go back and it's pitch black by 4.00 in the afternoon
Anyway, I dragged Mr N out into a back alley. He thought he was on a promise until I handed him my iPhone and started pouting like a pro!
Check out the bricked up coal chutes
Looking at these pictures got me to thinking about dark alleyways, Victorian bricks, rows and rows of terraced houses, dereliction and decay...
Then I got to thinking about The Smiths
Which led me to Shelagh Delaney and A Taste of Honey
These pictures prompted me to to
waste spend hours googling photos of derelict buildings and general urban decay. I found this Flickr group of Liverpool buildings and wasted spent more hours looking through them and thinking about how good it would be to explore them all
I enjoy my little flights of fancy
